Angela Main

Metazoa was developed by new media installation artist Angela Main in collaboration with HITlabNZ, a world leading Human- Computer Interface research laboratory based at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. This innovative art and technology project brings together augmented reality (where virtual objects exist in a physical space) and game progamming into a unique and interactive experience, which is performative and engaging. Angela draws on her early studies in Zoology and Psychology in this work along with her experience in theatre and time based events. She has collaborated with HITlabNZ on a series of installations that have toured nationally and internationally.
